In our club, nothing beats the TFL Cheetah hull. We used to have all sorts of entries in a P Cat race. Old Aeromarine's, Pro Marine Skater's and MTR's, Pro Boat's, among others. There was always a Cheetah or two, but the owners weren't pushing them hard. Then a couple of us all built new Cheetah's within a couple months of each other, and began pushing them, and they just dominated. This year, the P Cat races may as well be Cheetah races, because that's all that runs anymore.
Recently, at a bigger race, the P Cat class was open to both singles and twins. The two twins, both Cheetah's, came in first and second, my single Cheetah came in third, and the other single hulls behind that.
TFL Cheetah with a long 40mm can and a Castle X8S or XLX2 with two 4S 5,000 packs in parallel. /End Thread (IMHO).
thats about right. you're really bordering in 8s territory @ 1600kv for speed.
My 39" mono on 6S runs over 70 mph with a 1520kv motor. He can totally go faster than 55 mph on a 6S Cheetah at 1600kv. My 4S Cheetah on 2080kv runs in the mid 60's.

I ran mine for a long time on a TP4060 1950kv in the upper 50 mph range. I wanted some more speed, and didn't want to change props, so I bumped it to a TP4070 2080 kv and it runs in the mid 60's on 4S now.

Agreed, I have another cheetah with an neu 1527 1640kv on 6s that runs 69mph consistently
