NEED a Hatch Cover for a Miss Geico - Any help appreciated!!

This morn my Miss Geico decided to go for a flight. Maybe a turtle or a gator or probably me. Long story short the hatch flew off and floated nicely while I rescued the boat. But
it sank while trying to rescue it. (Not enough foam?) If anybody has an extra or a lonely hatch with a totaled boat I would be your customer. Also if anyone has any ideas on where to locate one or advertise for one I would appreciate hearing about it. Thank You!

I can only advise you to glue the foam on the cover or fix it with a cable to the hull.

Thanks for your reply. The foam was glued to the hatch as I always do. I believe what happened is that one of the batteries came loose in the aerobatics phase of the flight. It may have removed or broke loose enough foam to
allow the hatch to sink while I was rescuing the hull and its expensive contents first. It did float for quite a while.

Yes that little item is important. This Miss Geico is the larger one at 36 inches. I appreciate your pointing that out. I was a bit stressed when I sent out the original thread.

          Again Thank You!
