Agreed on the skeg strut. I use the larger Speedmaster hardware. Set the strut with a little "up". Some have observed these hulls running too wet due to some rear sponson angle design issues ( I haven't experienced this) If running "too wet" some nose-hunting may cause veering off of a straight line.. I'm with Howard (Hey Buddy) with the nicely prepped Octuras. I've run the 450/2 for 2-lap trials (If only I could drive ). The vid has a 450/3 and love the "traction".
