    Does anyone ever use venom 120A in their boat?

    I try to use a venom 120A watercooled(mod) on my drifter s, the boat went crazy and difficult to control it, I try to remove the red wire and use UBEC instead but seem the esc and servo are not responding.
    Stiletto tunnel,EPV135 (53") twin cat, CT06"Spirit of Qatar", FD 47" mono, Twin Mini Cat 23.5"

    I ran a Venom 120 with water cooling a couple of years ago in a 4s tunnel hull. It lasted a grand total of 30 sec and then blew itself to bits. Never got another...............................
    That boat with that set up pulled about 60 amps!

      Oh I see, now I know that esc is not suitable for boat, are u using a separate battery or UBEC since you use 4s ?
