Collet. Do I need reverse or positive?

Hi everyone I hope this post finds you all well. I'm confused about coupler direction. I see that some are described as positive and reverse. If my prop spins left (ccw) as viewed from the transom which coupler is needed? Positive or reversed? Thank you.

Use the same collet model for both sides.

You’ll want your collet to tighten in the opposite direction that your shaft spins. Reverse collets are for twin setups when running counter rotating props.

I see from your comment that you have never ran a twin boat with any power.

Just to clarify, are you saying that either coupler be it positive or reversed can work on a left hand (ccw) rotating prop?

On lower power twin boats - using two right hand collets is OK.
I have never had any problems on boats up to 4S or even 6S.
On my 8S twin I had to use a reveres collet on the right hand Prop side.
When I put a right hand collet on that side.
The motor had so much torque that the inner part would start to spin,
The weight of the NUT would want to stay stationary, therefore coming loose.
                  This set up is 8S - 400A - over 10,000 W per motor.
The problem on my 6S boat (7,000 W) was that I had to tighten the collet
on the side of the right prop so tight that I started to strip the threads on the collet,
So I changed to a reverse collet on this boat also.

It does not have to touch it.
