    new micro cat hardware

    a freind and i are building micro scat cats and making are own hardware here are some pics of what we have so far the bottom of the rudder is not finished yet. any suggestions or helpful hints

            I'm no machinist either but I think the center section of the extended bracket would be much lighter with that section completely hollowed out. Not sure how it would affect structrual integrity though?

            Edit: Looks good IMO

              Well youre all in luck not only am I a machinist but an engineer...

              Triangulation is the key!

              Outside that looks awesome!

                            Man that strut looks to small. Theres not enough area between the bearings... IMO. Just dont look right in that aspect.

                              Ya, I think you need to add some more 'meat' to your next rev strut. A good bump on a rock and that one is toast.
