Do we cut the red esc wire to eliminate the bec? Thanks doodes!

I would not cut the wire on the esc. You may need it for the data logger. Take a short servo extension and cut the red wire in that and plug it in series to the RX.

Agreed with Mic,

You want to keep the red wire accessible when you connect the castle link. I pull the pin out of the socket, fold it back and slip a piece of fuel tubing over it. Or as Mic suggested make a small extension and pull/cut the middle wire out of the extension so the plug on the Castle controller is left alone.
