    Proboat Veles Shuts down.

I am running this boat using 2 ea Roaring Top 5200 50C 2s. Every run the boat shuts about 1 minute into the run. I wait about 5 seconds and finish the run to 4:30 minute without issue. Any idea what is causing this?

    Thanks,

Are the batteries cold when you start?

Undervoltage cut-off due to low C lipo. Change the low volt cutoff on the ESC to something lower or get better lipos.

It's the LVC kicking in prematurely. Your batteries can't handle the load placed on them for whatever reason. Either they're cold (battery discharge capability decreases with decreasing temp), the batteries are old and tired, or they're just not up to the task in the first place.

I agree, LVC is kicking in, lower it or turn it off in the ESC. Side note, I'm willing to bet your run time might be a hair long. By your estimate, you've stated 5min 30sec. Be sure to check the voltage on your packs and your cell voltages should be no lower than 3.8V. If you run them down below that, you're hurting your batteries.

This is due to the LVC taking effect earlier than expected. For whatever reason, the load that is being placed on your batteries is too much for them to handle.
