which motor and esc on 6s for JAE 33 ?

Hi as mentioned in my last post i am building a JAE 33 FE rigger on 6s. I am thinking TP 4050 V1 series motor. What kv would be suitable for a 6s rigger ? Which esc would be suitable for this build ? Hopefully this will put me in the 85 mph + range as i will be experimenting in heat treating props . Regards Andris Golts.

I've got three options. I use a TP4050 in my JAE33 as well, but mine is set up for P racing, so I run it only on 4S. On 4S, I've been successful with the 2100kv, and other people in my club run 2000-2200kv in theirs.

Based on the same rpm, 6S works out to 1400kv. TP makes the 4050 in 1330kv, 1570kv, and 1700kv variations. So I would pick one of those. Probably either the 1570kv or 1700kv. I run 1700kv in a 6S boat now, and it's a beast.

1570kv might be difficult to get passed 80 mph.

        2200-2600kv imo.

I dunno, my 6S full bodied hydro goes 80 with 1700kv on a 45mm prop.

But now that I do the math on the 1570kv, for 85 mph, the 1700kv would be more suitable.
