looking into brushless boat for salt water bay

I recently moved to hawaii and am lucky enough to be renting a place right on kaneohe bay. I had a 55" dumas welcraft with a zenoah 26cc, but a gas motor is way too loud for this neighborhood. I also have a traxxas blast, but that's way too small for the water conditions. A pool is almost too much for that boat.

I was thinking about a brushless electric boat- but I need something that'll handle rough water. Some days it's like a pond, but there's mostly a good wind chop with maybe 6" waves breaking on my little beach. Any recommendations?

Well, depending on how much you have to spend,,,,you could convert the Dumas to electric.

Actually, I threw out the hull- it was a freebee and in rough shape. I kept the 26 zenoah water cooled motor, radio stuff, Ballentine drive and rudder too. It was a VERY heavy hull. So I'm looking for a ready to run brushless with a hull that can handle some chop.

Not from scratch. I built up the dumas scarab from a bare hull- fiberglassed the rails in, mounted all hardware and got it up and running.

I would suggest a monohull as large as you can afford. I have a Delta force 36" which handles rough water quite well but this was a nitro boat and did a few modifications on the hatch to totally make it watertight. Here are some hulls but please note that the change and cost from the 33" to the 44" is huuuge...
