    leopard 4082 1600kv 4s

I am planning to build a Pursuit for P mono. Do you think the leopard 4082 1600kv would be running to slow with 4s? Maybe running the right size prop would get me at the right speed? I do like being able to go from 4s to 6s with just a prop change if its possible and still be efficient

On 6s that motor will be ballistic, on 4s just cruising. 2000-2200 kv for 4s.

      Ok, thank you. would you choose a 4082 2200kv motor, 3674 2075kv or 3670 2140kv for 4s P mono in the Pursuit?

For competitive racing I'm sure the 1600 kv would be too slow. But for just sport running (I don't race) I have that motor in my Pursuit and own lots of
4, 5, and 6-s batteries and being able to use them all with a variety of props the high speed fun goes on and on. On 6-s have been able to coax 62 mph
out of it. Don't know how spectacular that is but for an old guy like myself
It keeps a smile on my face.

62mph is fast for that boat. Not sure how fast It will be with the 2200kv 4s.

The right size prop on some of the lower kv can get the speed up to be competitive with the some of the higher kv's.
                Abc 2115 17 45 2 blade should get that the 4082 1600kv running good speeds on 4s.
Another prop that I know of is the abc 2014 3 blade 15 60. I would think the abc 2116 3 blade 15 60 would be another prop.

These props should get you in the 50mph range on 4s.
