    Motor size

I have an old Aeromarine Mean Machine 18. Converting to elec. What size motor would work without breaking the bank. I'm not rich, just old. Any help converting would be helpful.

Hey Ken, kudos for the conversion!
We can help best if you add some detail:

What are your performance goals? Speed goals, hopes or dreams?
What is the application? Fun run, race, Stright line?
What batteries do you intend to use? Brand, age, cell count, c rating?
What esc you plan to use?
    What props you have available?

    See the fleet

This will be fun run only using some of the stock hardware. Not sure about batteries etc. Just getting ideas right now.

            I have a 2200kv 3660 motor in mine, it gives about 45 mph for 5 minutes on 4s 5800mAh with an X438.
