radio box lid

i have an old aero-marine fiberglass radio box. the lid is blue tint plexiglass. the lid has paper on it to protect it. it wont come off, just keeps ripping and is really stuck on. what can i do to remove it? thanks in advance.

Try warming it up first.

try warm soapy water

soak over night with oil of your choice.

I use Ronsonol lighter fluid to clean sticky stuff off plastic. You might have to soak it over night but it's a great cleaning agent and won't harm plastic.
