Hi all for the longest time i have gotten away using 2 sided velcro to mount my lipos in the under 30 inch hulls . In my larger 4s and 6s hulls the lipos are dislodging after a run. I see offshore electrics selling battery trays but has no battery straps in stock. What other options would be available to fasten lipos to these trays ! Is there something like velcro mounted on a sretchy material that would hold the lipos tightly in place or is there other options available ! Regards Andris Golts.

I use no-slip pads on my tray and rubberized straps. You will have to buy the right length, example below.
Lipos won't move, proven this a couple of times

First, you can find Velcro at any Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, etc. However, for most of my boats, plus several of my land vehicles, instead of Velcro, I use something similar to Velcro, but it's doesn't need to be adhered (ie. the "sticky adhesive" side) to anything. Instead of having adhesive on one side, and either the 'soft' or 'scratchy' Velcro, it has the 'soft' on one side, and the 'scratchy' on the other.
I feed it through the battery hold-down slots, place a LiPo pack into position, and then cut strips (diagonally) approx 2" longer than the tray/battery circumference. This makes them more than long enough...plus, cutting them diagonally makes them easier to grab hold of, and pull, when it's time to remove the battery. For small (<1900mAh) packs, 1-2 around the width does the trick. For medium (1900-3000mAh) packs, I'll have 1-2 around the width, plus 1 around the length. For large (>3000) packs, it's always 2 around the width & 1 around the length.

As mentioned I use velcro straps . Have you tried Horizon Hobbies ? But I also attach Duel Lock velcro to the trays and the batteries. https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Reclosab...a-732635751781 .Comment
