So I found one at my local hobby shop...

Miss Geico 36 twin, this thing is beautiful. Not so backordered after all. This is on a whole other level compared to my M41 and Veles. Even on just 2x3s I was impressed. I have some new 6s on the way and I?ll see what she can really do. Anyone with one have any information or things I need to look out for? I did the usual when inspecting, tightened everything, pulled the flex?s and relubed, leak tested, etc.

Also is there anyone in the Houston area on here? I live in Lago Mar in Texas City, I?ve spoken with the GM at the lagoon and the director of their sailing club and they?re open to having RC boat events at the lagoon if there?s interest. They?ve let me run my stuff in there a few times, there?s something about 60mph rooster tails in a 12 acre pool.

Yeah that?s what I hear. Does he have a specific prop he preps for the geico? Based on the temps on stock props I?m assuming some 1816s wouldn?t be too big?
Also has anyone had any issues using the included harness running 2x3s? I?ve had the positive lead come unsoldered twice on one of the batteries after 4-5 minutes run time.

if you balance and sharpen the stock props they are not bad but a ABC 1816 works very good but only for short run times( 1.30min)

Reinforce the hull is all I can say. I had the zelos 36, same hull as geico, I split that hull 3 times flipping it only running about 75. I?d pull everything out and put carbon fiber inlay inside.

I sent you a private message about the Houston area RC boat racing club that was mentioned.
