Hey FE friends!
My best bud and I got into FE boating a few months ago and quickly became hooked on going fast. My buddy "ILoveBotesnMotes" was determined to crack 50mph with his MG17 as it seemed the general consensus was that it could not be done. Well, he did it and then some. And I decided I wanted to hit the triple digits so I built a DF Explorer. Neither of these were overnight projects, took many failed attempts and broken parts ha ha. We learned a great deal from this forum and would like to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge and experience!
Below are our videos and pictures. We did not shoot seamless video nor did we check these numbers with multiple GPS's and/or speed traps so take this for what it is. We just wanted to share our projects with you all. We were about to shoot seamless video with the MG17 but sadly after the 76mph run there was a mishap which resulted in a battery exiting a sponson, from the bottom... lol. We are both quite shocked with how much abuse this little hull took before it finally gave out. As for the DF36, we are far from done. We will get a seamless video once we get fine tuning sorted out.
Specs;
MG17
Leopard 2845 3300kv
OSE Raider 90A on 6s (yes we know this is ridiculous, it had to be done lol)
3/16" TFL strut (highly customized)
.130 flex cable
637 Octura Prop
DF Explorer Twin
2x Leopard 4082 1000kv
2x Swordfish Pro+2 240A on 12s
3/16" flex cables
CNC 646 Props (91mph)
Dasboata 3 blades (100mph so far, they have more in them, I was scared lol)

Thanks
