    Timing

    Hi Guys,

I just recently replaced the motor and esc on Sonicwake. I out in a SK 180 and a TP Pro Comp 3650 V1 7D 1680KV motor. I have run this boat many times since install and there are zero heat issues other then when I ran a 44mm prop...it got way to hot. I switched back to the CNC prop 42mm. I have the timing set a zero. Can I bump the timing up to 3.25 or maybe 5? Will this give me more power?

D wind motors should be run at 0 timing. If you add timing, all you create is heat. Chris.

I run most of my D wind TP motors at 5* timing. You'll be fine to try it out and see if it adds any speed or heat with your known 42mm CNC prop.

Aaron, sent you a pm. I just wanted to know if you still have that 36" Kyosho Jetstream 888 that you were selling a couple of years back. If you can kindly let me know either way if you still have it or not. Thank you
