Timing on TP 3650 -1680kv 7D

What should I set the the timing on for the TP 3650 -1680kv? Its a D-wind so I have it set at 3.25. I have upgraded the motor and ESC - TP 3650 and SK 180, but before I run I want to make sure the ESC is programmed correctly. Also, I have a doctorprops Tornado Prop that is 44mm. Should I run the stock 42mm first to make sure there are no heat issues? Thanks in advance!

3.25 to 5 degrees is OK. Are you running this on 4S or 6S? Always start with a small prop low pitch prop if unsure about a new combo. Make a couple short runs and check temps.
