Suitable oil for captive flexshaft lube

As my build progresses I need to know what suitable oil could be used to lubricate a "captive" flexshaft. The hull has a TFL Arenson drive unit so access to remove the flexshaft for greasing would require the removal of the motor. I have fitted an oiler canister to hopefully not need to remove the flex every visit to the water but would need an oil with a low enough viscosity to flow to the stuffing tube. Any suggestions please?? If oil is unsuitable then alternatively I could use the supplied grease fitting to grease the flex with a grease gun.

I would recommend a 50/50 mix of chain bar oil and either STP or Marvel Mystery oil.
