K&B 7.5 lower leg

I recently got back into RC boating. I have a 36" tunnel cat with a old school 7.5 k&b nitro. I'm in the very first stages of doing the electric conversion. I ordered the first part the motor mount for the lower leg . Any one with positive or negative experience with doing this type of conversion and any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have done over a dozen FE Tunnel conversions. P/limited Q S T and Q/limited. There are some basics knowing what hull and either building a waterproof box under the cowl for electronics or sealing and making the cowl the waterproof box. I will start a separate thread with photos that will show how it works as I get calls all the time on this subject. Hope to get done in a day or so.
