    What?s the best way to fill in transom holes?

    if they're small screw sized holes, I mask them off from the outside and fill them with JB Weld from the inside. If they're larger, I use epoxy mixed with chopped carbon fiber instead.

      Personally, I like to glue in hardwood dowels then sand flush. Fill any leftover imperfections with filler thickened epoxy then sand again. This allows me the ability to re drill in the same area very easily.

          I usually press fit dowels as well. Drill the holes out if you have to to achieve an interference fit.
