    4082 2000kv 6 pole amps

Can anyone please tell me how many amps a 4082 2000kv 6-pole motor is pulling. Or direct me to a place to find. Trying to figure out battery requirements. Thank you.

Hull brand, type (mono, cat, hydro, tunnel), length, weight, attitude (wet or aired out), prop (brand, size, pitch, rake), batteries (cell count, mah, brand), driving conditions (saw, racing, bashing), water (rough or glass), and anything else that might influence drag or otherwise.
        That’s all..

Regardless of the motor brand or hull type, a motor will pull enough amps to try to meet the load. Once the coils are saturated the rest of the battery energy is turned into heat. This means that you can load the motor enough to burn it down in very short order. There is no answer to how many amps a motor is pulling, it depends on the total load mentioned above including prop size, hull type and trim, driveline friction, battery quality, connector size and condition, wire length, motor condition, water conditions and motor cooling.

To find the best pack capacity it is best to find out what others are using when they drive the boat like the OP will. Is he sport running, oval racing, or speed passes? How long does he want to run? What is his budget? Is speed more important than component life? There is no simple chart or answer.

Oxidean Dominator SR mono, 33.3?, Two 2s or 3s 4000-6000mah lipo batteries are required to be run in series.
Just having fun on a pond, smooth to very light chop. Looking for a decent speed and good run time.
              That?s all I?ve got.
