    Large twin battery advice

Hello folks - specifically looking for input from people with 60" + boats

Hopefully later this year ill begin building a twin cat, similar to the MHZ mystic 72" but one that doesn't handle weight as well... faster in a straight line but doesn't like being too heavy from what I've heard from one or two people for sport / turning.

So trying to build it fairly light, motors probably big TP / SSS 56104 more than likely twin 3060's

Speed target is 100mph without pushing anything too hard, this hull has been clocked at 145mph. cell count will be 12s. made using 6s batts.

    my normal batts are SLS,

at the moment im looking at two options, either

6s1p SLS Xtron 8000mah, in series,
    Continuous Discharge: max. 25C (200,0A)
    Burst Discharge: max. 50C (400,0A)
    Weight: approx. 1054

So would be 2kg / side in batts

    or some

SLS XTRON 5000MAH 6s2p giving me 10000mah and 12s in series,
    Continuous Discharge: max. 40C (200,0A)
    Burst Discharge: max. 80C (400.0A)
    Weight: approx. 781 Gramm

The discharge rate's would be doubled for the 2p setup obviously.
Giving me 3kg / side in batts.

Now the question is, will I need discharge rating higher than the 8000mah packs would provide me? Seems the best way to go if it would work, price wise

8000mah setup equates to 560 euro

10,000mah setup is 880 euro (- 220) as I already have 2, 6s packs (1 2 minute run on them albeit 2 years old) giving me 660 euro

Whats the consensus? Anything im missing?
