Hi All:

Here is the rearview of my latest airboat with the dual linkage steering set up with the Traxxis 2080 servo which the gears stripped out of.

Each steering pushrod has a servo saver on it. Does anybody see what the issue here is! Regards Andris Golts.

Does the prop hit the linkage?

That’s a pretty tiny servo for that size rudder with tiny gears, servo savers or not. One hard flip and the rudder takes a big hit which is transferred to the servo. I thought you bought replacement servo gears to replace the old ones?

Thanks to both of you for the reply Native Paul there is 1/2 inch clearance between bottom of prop and top of steering linkage and Fluid im still waiting for the metal gears to show at the LHS thanks again. Regards Andris Golts.
