Hi all .I have always just used the PT-40 resin to seal wood grain and do fiberglass lay-up .Would this resin also work for glueing birch ply decking to blue Dow foam and plywood frames . Regards Andris Golts.

Denatured alcohol is not that easy to find but Canadian tire I think has some if they will let you in to look.
I haven't tried his technique on a wood boat but i have build a Whiplash with the stuff for structure. It's nice and thin but as video shows you can go thinner if you like.
If it was a large Q-sport or something I might want to use MAS or West Systems but for smaller boats I think it's fine.
For finishing he specifically says to use non starched FG cloth. Most hobby shops don't know the difference since not many people build like this any more.

I have some Denatured alcohol in Milton I could give you some when there. Stinky as heck. I got it a few years back when I last ran boats in Michigan. Crazy what they sell there and not here???? Nortavlag Bulc Comment
