I want to upgrade to brushless water cooled motor and don't know what size would work best or what size the original shaft is . Any body have any links and suggestions of the easiest way to upgrade this boat to run 2s and 3s without having to do a lot of major modifications to hull?

Did you look in the Mini and Micro forum. https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com...-Electric-Talk I have a thread in there and there are a could others. My 17 is untested so I'm not to sure about the motor yet . It may be to big for the boat. I built it to run on a 2s pack . The other parts I sourced from other threads in that forum and bought from OSE.
