Dragon Hobby Mini Cat with OSE Upgrades

New here to the forum wanted to share my project.
Have a dragon hobby mini cat 26"
Stock esc and motor didnt last long so I contacted Steven at OSE and he helped allot.
Got the new setup almost ready to go.
    Installed a OSE 150amp ESC with a SSS 2960 Brushless Motor 3000kv.
I plan on running on 3S for now while i get it dialed in.

Next up i need to finish the water cooling lines.
I am adding a dual water pickup rudder and also going to be getting a metal prop.

I am looking at the "Dragon Hobby SAGA MICRO CAT 650EP" : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3295...0_0,searchweb2

How did you find the quality?

Did you replace the driveshaft? On my son's Flowmaster the 1/8" flex barely lasted one run with an upgraded 2960(?) series motor. From memory he runs a 120 amp high voltage ESC on 6s with a 42 mm 1.6 pitch prop. I upgraded the drive and from memory modified the strut to take a 4mm "Speedmaster" style rotating bush.

They are very nice little boats. I’ve got one running approx 60mph with flat water. The hull is very thin, I cut out all the wood internals and did a full carbon fibre inlay. It’s better to prevent the hull cracking than repair after it has (and ruin the beautiful paint scheme). Also I poured a small amount of resin and chopped carbon fibre into the tips and centre section of the tunnel for strength. The stock driveline was also upgraded for strength and adjustability. Pads were made under the air intakes to spread the load in a flip and not rip out of the hatch. Also I had the clear windscreen crack in a flip and swamp the boat with water, so I added carbon fibre over the windscreen. Here’s the build thread:
