All depends on your setup, battery configuration. Install hardware set everything in boat and get your cog. A good place to start is 33% forward of transom is how I do it

The boat doesn’t know overhang, only what’s in the water. The overhang is just dead weight.

Ok will go 33% from transom but.can’t help thinking the 4”overhang effects can cog.

The over hang is dead weight. You still measure 33% from the transom which is 4" in front of the overhang. You have to put your motor, esc, and batteries in the boat and that tells you where to put your motor. You don't put your motor at 33% unless you want it really forward. The 33% is RTR balance point.

Was thinking 12 inches measuring from the inside of the boat to the transom to front of motor splits the difference between 33% from transom and 33% from sponsons. There is a ton of room in this boat to adjust the batts. Thought Steve would chime in because he has sold this exact configuration on a the O.S E site.

                I would target 10.6” from transom, that’s 33%
