Reducing hull length of Blazer .21 Whip lash hydro for a mini bl hydro !

Hi all bought a Blazer .21 hydro kit a decade ago for .21 nitro was thinking of tracing templates and reducing them to give me a 19 inch mini hull the one thing i noticed sponson depth would only work out to about 5/16 of and inch and there is also a belly pan in hull design would this work for f.e i am thinking on a 28 x 35 3500 kv outrunner on 3s for power! HAS anyone ever reduced one of these hulls for this purpose and would it work! Regards Andris Golts.

Because we can't scale down the water conditions, generally I deviate from scale and increase the water clearance as I go smaller with our hulls.

Having said that if you don't mind limiting yourself to only running on glass, 5/16 will be fine. Even on glass I wouldn't get the belly pan less than 1/8" off the water though.
