    Ripple Current

I think I know the answer for that but since I am not an expert, here we go.

Having long wires is bad for a couple of reasons, one of them is the "Ripple Current".
With that being said, are the long main power leads bad or are the long motor leads bad?
If I think about it for a second I believe the long power leads are the bad ones... since one of the consequences are blown caps... am I on track here?
I usually try to keep the wires as short as possible, but sometimes they cannot be super short... what is it you guys do if this situation rises?

When I cannot have short leads, I have doubled up on the wire from the batts to controller. You can also add more caps to help smooth out the ripple.

I saw that bank of caps and thought it was awesome!

      what a dork I am!!!
      hehehehe
Can one use those caps with any other types of caps?

doubling up wires is what CC does, one would think that that would be enough, right... ha ha.
why would one send out ESCs with cables so long they allow ripples to occur...
Oh well, I am just ticked off

I see it as an eternal learning curve... as you get more advanced the changes get smaller...

I've tried Ripple Current, but actually I prefer Strawberry; although anything with a truck or a train on the lable will do.

Any pics of those, reddy? I would love to see how you soldered an extra pair of wires onto the internals of a lipo pack, or do you just splice the existing wire where it exits the wrapping?
