    Tfl popeye vs Proboat Ul-19

I am trying to decide between popeye (Fiberglas) and UL-19. Neither one is currently in stock so I have awhile. I am mostly interested in performance and handling difference. I already have DX5 radio system so adding that to the popeye is not a big concern. I may race in the future but currently I am mostly interested in sport and setup experience/practice.

I would stick with a proven design from PB. The UL-19 is a great running boat in comparison to the other. You will get more "sport"speed from a UL-19 as the Popeye hull packs huge amounts of air and as speed increases the Popeye will be harder to keep on the water.

Thanks probably better support and information on the UL 19 also. Now just have to wait for them to be back in stock

I had great fun with my popeye. Never had a problem with it lifting off.
There is a wealth of information in this thread on the boat if you want to take the time to flick through it.
Some good pics, tips, & videos too.
