Welcome to OSE! It is normal for surface drive boats to track to the right from prop walk, we usually counter that by setting some left trim in the rudder so that it tracks straight hands-off under power. Most surface drive boats will turn much better to the right and not as well to the left for the same reason. We usually have to be less aggressive in left turns. The actual hull design matters, some hulls are more susceptible to this than others.
Moving the rudder probably won’t do very much. You could try offsetting the packs slightly to the right to help keep the right sponson planted, but that may make right turns tricky. Or not, I’ve not driven that particular hull.

A dull, stock prop can make it worse. Getting a sharpened and balanced prop installed should net you not only a little bump in speed, but reduce the prop walk. I don't know what prop that boat comes with, but you can start out with a Graupner K series composite or a CNC aluminum prop in the same size for not a lot of money.Vac-U-Tug Jr (13mph)Comment
