Where to mount rudder on delta force 29

I'm using a speed master stinger strut and rudder combo on a deltaforce 29. Where is the best place to put the rudder height and distance from strut.

Here is good reference. The stinger strut should be about 3/8-1/2" off the bottom of the keel.
Rudder should be just below the top and bottom deck seam line.
I shortened my stinger by about an 1" so the prop was inline with the rudder when looking at the side view of the boat.

What did you use to shorten the stingers with

Hacksaw and then used a piloted counterbore tool to ensure the end was flat. You don't need to get it dead flat unless you plan on using it is a thrust surface.
