Wishes and suggestion

One thing that I would like to suggest is to add a section (new thread) in the "Tips and info for building a reliable FE boat" where each one of us can add his boat setups in the following way:

Boat Motor ESC Batteries Prop Speed

These would be the actual setups that one has and not theoretical. There are some boats like the MM, SV27, DF33, Agitator clone, M1 Supercat, where you can find many different setups but they are not located in one thread.

Once again MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

You could start a thread like the one you describe and everyone could add their setups. Maybe the admin will tac it to the top. It could be moved at a later date to Tips and Info. I think that was the original plan.

We have discussed this type of thing in the past. The problem is the small setup differences in each setup. I can run a 7xl on a hydra 120 in a 27" boat, but I would NEVER suggest that setup. Some people have the ability to tune their boat to their needs.

Not that I'm better than anyone else, I've just spent more time burning things up experimenting.

So how do we tell whats a mild, sport, race or extreme setup?

Dont get me know, I would LOVE to do this!!

I like the suggestion on sharing specific setups. Are there any web tools that allow people to enter information into a database? Then users could search for things like:

• Show all setups using Hydra 120
• Show all setups using with hulls 26 inches long.

Over time you get lots of data accumulated and its not the specific info that is used necessarily, but you can see trends.
