looking for a hull that handles choppy water like an Apache but with a more modern style deck.
    Suggestions appreciated

The Delta force does not look like it can handle choppy water

Aeromarine Challenger Pro would fit that description, IMO.

What is rough about your water, windy, full scale boats, ocean? This will help the selection process.
Also racing or fun running? What speeds are you looking for?

I like the Ocke Mannerfelt batboats like the V24 and V28 for rough water, they are stepped and straked for greater efficiency, while having a high dead rise angle and are exceptionally narrow at the Chinese to cut through waves with wings at the rear for aerodynamic stability.

The downsides to them are that they are relatively susceptible to torque roll due to the narrowness, so they require a smaller prop higher RPM setup than is usual. Volvo developed a contra prop stern drive for the full size ones, and they are so wide above the waterline they need a very big flood chamber if you want a self righting one, though they also need self righting less than other boats.

Windy on occasion, full size boats yes. Not ocean but sometimes just as bad. Lol
