    Anyone remember "Pong"??
    Commodore 64's?

If things didn't evolve, we would not be having this conversation right now.

As for the financial mess, people do it to themselves,,,having to keep up with the Jones's,,,,,living beyond their means,,,,,,,always assuming and planning for the best case scenario (the worst can never happen,,,can it??). And of course, no-one is responsible, its always someone else's fault......

Everyone wants more return on their investments, so companies give us what we demand, by building cheaper products overseas thus allowing for increased profits. Then all of a sudden we panic after realizing that we got what we want,,,but jobs are dissapearing!!!! Oh No ,,,how did this happen:doh

Lets bail out the car companies as well so they can continue building the same products that are not selling,,,,thats a great solution that will only delay the enivitable...................

How come US and Canadian owned Honda/ Toyota etc companies are not putting their hands out as well??? Because they are managed by people with some foresight and will probably weather this mess with fewer problems.

    I'll shut up now.

Could it be that the Unions don't have control of Honda/Toyota/BMW/MB, and therefore they can sell cars at a lower price and still make a profit?

I remember stiiting in Steve Neu's shop around 1973 or 1974 and lookin in awe at his Leisure Flight 05-powered, 1000 mah sub-C cell (or were they 900 mah ), overweight gas-bag glider. It had a "perceptible" climb rate and several seconds of run time.

Today, his current crop pf gliders will climb vertically at over 150 mph and go out of sight in less than three seconds. The duration of the flight is over 10 minutes at speeds approaching 180 mph.
