    1st lipo experience

took my new N2(lipo)* boat out to the pond today(sorry no pics)...not sure what I was expecting but no dramatics. boat ran much like I would have expected a GOOD set of nimhs to perform. except; I left the charger at home, the lipos had been charged a few weeks ago, and there was little drop in perfomance till after roughly a mile and a half! was nice to just plug and go(and bring the boat in for adjustments) w/o having to repeak every time.
I do echo the suggestion/recomendation of; set your LVC no lower than 3.1v per cell.
*running a 2s2p set of 4k mah lipos.
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

Rex what about proping up? Thanks for sharing. What manufacturer did you go with?

proping up; well was trying to free up the hull...by the time I tryed more prop the packs were done for the day. went with 'max amps'(not the current offering, one offering back) cells. if you're asking about the hull, its a 'delta force 12'. got to wait till after mothers day to try a bigger prop(some sort of fishing thing next weekend). also have to adjust rudder throw, seemed like I had only to look at the wheel and the boat was turning :)
