    Prop suggestions 4082

Looking for prop suggestions for my new setup. I have a leopard 4082 2000kv on 4s with a seaking 180. This is on a 32 inch hydroplane. I have read that these motors can turn larger props but i'm quite ignorant, the selection is overwhelming Maybe the x447? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

I run 45mm or 46mm with that setup the 46mm I use is cut down and balanced and for the occasional 6s SAW run

I would recommend an M445. M545 or ABC 1816 to start.

I've always been satisfied with an M445 with that setup on my mono hulls. The X series will give you better hole shot acceleration with slightly less top end speed. The M series will give you better top end speed but will slip a bit when accelerating out of the hole. The M series will draw slightly less amps as well. You will just have to try a few different props to see which suits your purpose best.

A Prather s225 is one of my favorite props on that sort of setup. Maybe even an s230 if things are running cool enough with the s225.
