    I am getting confused (which is normal for me) You stated

    First,I already have the motor that I mentioned,as for the batteries,they are 2s1p 5000mah lipo and thats times two...Then

      Hi Mick;
      My vegas is going to be converted to brushless.I already did some inquires as to how it would run on a brushless motor and I found a number of he conversions on youtube.One in paticular has been done by Genettico.He has done a few boats and the vegas he converted takes right off and it has alot of speed.
      So with my combo;8xl feigao motor,scorpian 110amp esc,(water cooled),2x 2s1p 4500mah lipo batteries.I am not sure if I can use the same rudder but I will try and see what happens;unless someone has a suggestion on that.Ok Now;with this combo I have mentioned above;"what prop do I use".Steve from OSE suggested the 8xl for this application.
      I need to know what prop. Thank Guys

            Also, I forgot to ask what run time you desire and expected speed.

              Hi;
              I hope I could get at least 15-20 minutes,more would be better,but I will start with that.As for speed,in and around 40-45mph.They will be in parallel,the packs I have are 2s1px2-4500mah,7.4 volt packs

                Stay with the original motor and you may get 25 - 30 MPH and about 10 minutes. The 8xl will be slower and about the same run time.

                If you put them in series you will get the 40 - 45 but for 3 maybe 5 minutes.

                    Agreed, we all wish for that, but it won't happen in the near future unless something drastically changes in the technology we have today.
