Ok setup?

I'm looking at putting a vee bottom together and want to make sure what I have will marry up well. I have an ML Boatworks 54" Fountain hull, a TP 5860 4Y 730kv motor, and Flier 300a boat esc. The hull the motor and esc were in ran 12s. Will this work well or be better suited to a different hull?

I think you should be on the right track. Only issue I see is 12S is going to be pretty hot with that kv motor. To keep the amps and speed in check you will need to drop down to a smaller prop than would be ideal for that big of a hull. You might do better at 8-10S depending on what you are wanting to do with this build. All out speed, sport, long run times, etc.
