    Neu 1515 2y/f/h

I bought this motor thinking it was a d wind but it is a y. Is there a hull it would push with 8s. I was going to run it on 4s2p thinking it was 2200 kv but it is 1100kv. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks greenblast

Run it in a normal 4 cell boat but instead of 4s2p run it connected as 8s1p with an appropriate controller.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Would it swing the same size prop as a 4s neu?

Its not completly true. But a "Honda" 600 cc /50 kw motor would be the 4s2p. The "Harley" with the 1200 cc/ 50 kw would be the 8s1p. So yes it would swing the same prop.

Prop it the same. Something in the 40-44mm range is a good starting spot.
