Steven,
I've use a Garmin Forerunner 101 and it worked GREAT... I don't know if they are "cheap", but it definately worked well...
You know... there is a GPS unit coming out for the EagleTree V2 (might already be out??) that will allow you to download your data to Google Maps!! Hmmmmm... Might be interesting...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

You have to watch.... that one listed is no good to buy....
They come up for bid or sold from right in the USA for less then 20 bucks and shippinfg is like 8 bucks.
I got mine for under 20.
Right now EBAY dont have any worth buying. Check tomarrow. Look for new and under 20 from USA. They come up all the time. There is someplace else someone bought one from but I cant remember who or where. Might have been NJFE.Last edited by ice329; 05-03-2007, 09:39 AM.Comment

There is a GPS module for the Eagle Tree systems. Although at 150 dollars it is a little pricey.Comment

I just picked up a brand new Geko 101 on E-Bay for $61.00 delivered... A little bigger than the Forerunner 101 (3.9" x 1.9" and 3oz vs 3.3" x 1.7" and 2.75oz), but it's waterproof and has controls that are easy to acces while installed in the boat (on the top rather than on the sides...)...
I tried to find those Naviga ones, but they seem to be out of stock everywhere, and with Garmin, at least you KNOW it's going to work correctly...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA
