How do you do lube jobs on a contained drive like that? How often?

*Flip the boat over loosen 2 set screws in the ferrule
*pull the stub shaft out far enough to remove ferrule
*pull the flex shaft from the rear of the boat.

I grease as I would normally 2-3 runs.

Diameter difference between the 3/16" shaft and the 5mm TAMIYA Thrust ball bearing is less than 0,25 mm, no problem (0,009").

            Really ???
Have you ever tried before writing such nonsense?
I do not think so !
Give us a real test, on a boat runs off a shelf, and then you can say that with 0.25mm, you can run without problem.
Your boats never left the shelf where they take dust.

Oh, no, they move when you take picture. Sorry...

I don’t think you need one, less you worry about the End bell coming off. Personally I think there a waste time & money and set up
