Flex or wire for Mean Machine

Thinking about a Mean Machine build soon, my set up will be a 1515 1Y, Hydra 240, 4s lipos, Speedmaster hardware, just cant decide on the .150 flex cable, or a wire drive. I run a flex cable in a Matrix rigger and it is doing great, but I have heard the wire drives are better, which way should I go?

That is a high-power setup, and I would not recommend it for your firsrt wire drive. The quality of the wire we get is iffy, some lots are better than others. On my MM I ran 0.078" wire on 4S and it held up fine, but I'd worry abouth 1/16" wire. Flex cable (0.150") will be easier and stronger unless you can modify parts to use the thicker wire.
