Testing W.O.F 30'' O/B tunnel ON 6S POWER.

Hi all over the last 4 weeks set up the Dunlap 30'' tunnelhull with the Leopard 4082 1600 KV motor and 6s 5000 mah 40c lipo testing props in the 40-42 mm range . This set-up is a real handfull in windy and choppy conditions with max speeds in the 49-51 mph range tonight the water was perfectly flat with no wind i pinned the throttle the gps read 59.3 mph using a Octura x440 /3 prop. Im considering going back to 4s and try a 3674 motor in the 2000 kv range and once again thanks to Mic and all the others who helped me with my setting this boat up. Regards Andris Golts.

I have the same hull...never been wet...may finish over the winter.... Is your set up an outboard?

Hi nitro 30 the Dunlap W.O.F 30 is set up with a outboard O.S max lower unit with the conversion plate for b/l motors i never imagined this lower unit could handle this kind of hp i was told the b/l power im putting through this unit is comparitive to a modified .45 nitro engine. Very nice set up...I have the K+B lower unit converted to BL....not sure yet what motor i will use...have 1800 kv 3674.. Mabe..

7.5cc power thru a 3.5cc lower awesome! What ESC are you using, did I miss that? Did you try any higher pitch props X640, P-215, maybe X642 on my little p-limited tunnels I really like those props, adds a couple a mph over the 1.4 pitch props. I run P-limited 36x60 mm, 2030/kv power(mid 40's mph) on 3.5cc K&B's, bullet proof little sport lowers. Any pictures?

Boats not done yet like i said but prob will use the SK 180 v3 esc..Have a P215 worked...and a 645...gonna work on it in a month or so...Trying to finish up a 36" glass mono before the cold weather sets...
