So I picked up this Hobby King F1 Hornet tunnel hull (hull only). Drive line is a TFL/SSS 36x56mm 2030/kv motor atop a K&B lower. ESC is 120amp Seaking, Battery is 4S 5000mah 50c dynamite. First test runs spinning an Octura X640 prop. to a top speed of 43mph (GPS).

First impression was positive. It ran fairly good for a cheep hull. Only issue was if slowing to tighten your line, if running a little wide hull would bounce a bit, keep your pace up it was not to bad handling. Easy enough to set up, took a weekend.
