Anyone ever use this Traxxas 2200kv. Sure looks like a castle.

Have always like the castle 1515 but they are getting tougher to find at a decent price.
Anyone have any experience with these?

Probably is, castle has been working with Traxxas for years! I worked in a hobby shop for several yrs.

Let me know if you can't find a water jacket for the finned motor, I may have a new one laying around.

Thanks Ray. I have a new one for a 1515 but not positive it’ll fit. The Traxxas seems to be slightly larger.

If it is the same motor as the Castle, then this would be the correct jacket.

That’s what I was thinking 785.
I asked because one they are pretty affordable and two I have a couple of jackets for the 1515.
If it’s close to the same motor it would be a deal. Have always really liked the 1515 for how much torque they have.
Can’t find if it a d or a y. That would be a good sign if it’s just a re badged 1515.

I've only got one 1515 motor & I was told it is a Y wind. I run the ESC on 15 degrees, so I hope it is.
I'm sure someone will confirm that.

The 1515 is a y motor and I also run 15 deg.
