You can enter the number of LiPo cells now, in the same box you enter the number of nickel cells. Reddy has done a great job, thanks!

Entering the number of cells is still the number of 1,2v nimh cells. It does not give the option of changing it to lipo, or am I missing something?

you can change the battery type as well. think neu lipo`s are at the bottom of the battery choises

Yes, those are the Neu 4900mah lipo's in 1P and 2P.

FeCalc Lipo's

Added more Neu Lipo batteries to FeCalc. They are the only site I can find specs for their cells.

Thanks Reddy. In would like to know in the interface under batteries and under connectors I have to input number of cells in the pack. If I'm running two 3S packs, what should be entered where or should they match (6 each)?

When you are running 3s voltage to the esc always enter 3 for number of lipo cells or for 4s enter 4 etc............. This tells the program your "voltage selection". The program will automatically calculate your battery weight and resistance if you use the 2P selection for sets wired in parallel.

Added the 2100 lipo cells in the attached file.

And what should be entered in the Connectors box where the program asks for number of cells, as well?

It is asking for the number of connectors and type you used to your batteries . It is adding their resistance to the circuit.

I have updated FeCalc with the OSE Octura and Prather props. Hopefully all these changes will make the program more useful for you to decide on a setup without the dreaded smoke?

Always start testing with a prop smaller than your optimum estimated setup. Watch the FeCalc setup watts and your motors rating.

Anybody else finding a 100 motor limit to FECALC ??
I tried adding all Reddywatts motors to my own motor database but found errors until I trimmed it down to < 100 entries

Yes, there are equipment limits in each FeCalc. Not only in the motor section.

Let me know if there is anything else that needs to be added. The hardest part is finding the specs of the equipment.

Thanks for an edition with only Octura and Prather props. Just about every setup I tried was asking for a RRH prop and I only use Octuras. THanks a bunch!!

But I'm getting a "text1" error when I use the prop wizard...

I agree the prop wizard does work a little better now, I just dont agree with it sometimes for the size hull I am running. Usually manually enter my selections to find the best setup.

Note: If you use to many cells for your motor/hull type selection, it will not give an answer. Just says "text1" in all boxes.
