Hello everyone I am new on here. I am also new 2 electric boats. Have over 30 years in nitro and gas boats. From monos to hydros and outriggers. I have just bought a Zippkits 45fe outrigger. I will be needing a hand on picking the right esc and motor for this boat. Anyone can help me out here. Thank you for any help at all

Hey John

You have several options on a 45 size hull, I run 6s and have the following setups:
Castle XL2 converted esc with a castle 1717 motor and 6000mah 6s cells
Castle XL2 converted esc with a NUE 1527 6000mah 6s cells
MGM 28026 esc Lehner 2250/7 5000mah 6s cells
MGM 28026 esc Lehner 2260/6 6000mah 6s cells.

These are all very fast setups and you would be very happy with any of them. There are other options you could look at with NUE 1521, TP or leopard motors, other good esc are the Swordfish 240 and 300 X units.

The CC esc are very easy to convert if you do a search on the forum you will find a few threads showing you what to do. I’ll also have a look and post the link if I find it.

Didn,t know there was a 45fe zippkits rigger. 33 fe and 45 glow. if its the 45 glow you will need to make a taller lid as the tub is quite shallow.

rol243 this is A 45fe kit from Zippkits. This kit has a very tall tube. To tall for my liking it will hold a 10,000map 6S battery Joe says

No that is not it. Call Joe at Zippkit.he put this kit for me. I don't think he has my kit listed yet.

Got question for all you exp Zippkits Outrigger fe. (Tp 4070 vs leopard 4082) which motor choose would be the best for my JAE 45Fe Outrigger. Thank you
