Only 63kph on 4s!!?

Just finally had time to test my latest boat project

It's a sprint cat .29 converted to electric

30 inch hull
1800kv 4074
4s
M545 prop

Boat is quick don't get me wrong but , my GPS showed it maxing out at about 62.6 kph (39 mph) I figured it would do atleast 80kph (50mph) with the m545 prop. Maybe my GPS is wrong? Poor setup on the strut ? I'm still new to this any help is appreciated!

You don,t seem to be giving the boat some distance for any speed build up. where is the strut set at ? larger prop will help too running 1800 kv,s.

I agree..you will need a longer distance to have a better top speed,preferably with no waves...you re running in the worst part of the lake.Gill
